Introduction
The purpose of this report is describe and
talk about my work experience in the Municipalidad de San José and my
recommendation about that place.
About
the Municipalidad de San José
The Municipalidad de San José had a local
government in 1812 thanks to the Constitution of Cádiz but the office of Social
Work add in 1962. It’s a very organize and qualified place for the practice of
beginners Social Workers, because have a space with historic antecedents about
the job of the Social worker into the government.
My
work experience
In this place, during my six weeks I
realice activities with civil servant and neightbours of Cantón.
Activities
with Civil Servant
The Civil Servants are a people to retire
of the job, with they I realice specific activities, for example: guide about
the profits of belong them, help with the paperwork and procedures and
monitoring. I realice an social study when the person have the benefits. Also I
work in the critical or difficult situations in the job.
Neightbours
of Cantón
With the Neightbours of Cantón I realice a
similar job but in this case focus on the street vendor, I guide them about the
paperwork for receive the pantent or monitoring their cases individually, also
I talk with them about the scholarship for the daughters.
General
comments
In this place I receive too much help from
the government and I’ve a companion with experience in this work, so it’s very
recommend for the beginners.
Conclusion
The government is one of the most trustworthy
in your functioning, because this have a dynamics very complete for the Social
Worker. Totally recommended.
